Qinetic at UQ Weekend Of Startups

21 July 2017

One of the Qinetic engineers will be attending the UQ Weekend Of Startups, during the afternoon sessions on Saturday the 2nd of September this year, as a mentor.

The UQ Weekend Of Startups is one of the activities organised by the UQ Idea Hub, a startup pre-incubator for the aspiring, the inspired and the ambitious. During the weekend, students, alumni, and non-affiliated entrepreneurs form groups to develop an idea, validate it with feedback from the public, potentially prototype an implementation, and deliver a pitch to an experienced panel of judges.

A Qinetic engineer has been asked to be a mentor at the event, and will help one group to develop a mobile application which supports their business concept. We’re excited to take part in this event, and to increase our engagement with Brisbane’s entrepreneurs. We encourage anyone interested in entrepreneurship to contact the UQ Idea Hub, and if you have a business idea and need a basic mobile application to reach minimum viable product status, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
